Cleaning of equipment and premises

  • Hygiene: all the principles and individual or collective practices aimed at preserving health and the normal functioning of the body.
  • Detergent: a detergent (or surfactant) is a chemical compound, generally derived from petroleum, with surface-active properties, which makes it capable of removing dirt. Detersion is a fundamental element of hygiene, since it allows the elimination of a large part of the bacteria present in particular on the skin, and on the utensils used for the preparation and consumption of meals.
  • Disinfectant (also called biocide): a substance capable of destroying or preventing the development of microbes in inert media (floors, instruments, surfaces, hands, etc.)
  • Descaler: which prevents or reduces the formation of limescale.
